My love for quilting started with a sewing machine and an invitation from my mom.

For my 21st birthday, I received my first sewing machine, and my mom and I joined our church’s sewing group. That’s where I discovered the world of piecing and quilting and where a lifelong love of making really began.

Years later, my mom visited a shop where she watched a longarm quilter at work and came home saying, “You should look into this.” I did, and one thing led to another. Through a series of doors that only God could have opened, I found a longarm machine and began The Quilt Queue.

Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of quilting for makers who have poured hours of creativity, thought, and love into their quilts. One of my favorite things about this work is the incredible variety that comes through my studio. Every quilt is different - different fabrics, colors, patterns, personalities, and stories. Some are combinations I would never choose for myself, while others make me fall in love with a fabric or pattern all over again. I get to experience them all!

My goal is to give every quilt the care and attention it deserves. I’m detail-oriented by nature, and I love collaborating with you to choose the thread color and quilting design that will complement your quilt and bring your vision to life.
